Favorite food: Fettuccine Alfredo

Favorite Aggie tradition: My favorite Aggie tradition is Aggie Bonfire. I grew up in College Station going to Aggie events and Bonfire was the most fun. Singing the War Hymn and The Spirit of Aggieland and doing all the yells is an incredible experience for anyone that goes. For me, it became a family tradition. It gained more importance after stack fell and 12 Aggies lost their lives. I have had the pristine privilege of knowing one of the families that lost their daughter when stack fell. Jamie Lynn Hand '03 died when stack feel. her sister, Kristen Hand, came to College Station and needed a job. She became my babysitter. It was through her that I learned how powerful the Aggie Family truly is and how great and supportive it is to those whom need its support.

Interesting fact: I was born and raised in Aggieland. I am a proud third generation Aggie. My grandmother earned her masters at A&M, my father, Bobby Boenigk '77 got his bachelors from A&M, and now my sister, Rachel Boenigk '12, and I attend A&M.
